I’m working on my Extended Essay (voor Nederlanders, dat is soortgelijk aan het PWS dat je op VWO doet) and I keep getting shocked by all the sources that I find.

I’m writing it on the history of the Dutch tradition of Sinterklaas, focusing on Zwarte Piet, Black Pete.

It constantly surprises me how something like this is even still a thing in our country.

I really recommend you watch this video to, for Dutch people, find out the history of the festival that all of us enjoyed as kids and, for non-Dutch people, learn about something you may not have heard of ever before.
